Hey guys, some of you might remember me from AOC and sitting in your city challenging ppl to duel. I saw AOC has a two week trial up and was wondering if its even worth installing on my computer to play around with. I see that our old server has been merged into Tyranny? Basically is anyone still around fromm when i used to play and did they fix any of the random loading screen crashes the game had?

Of course I remember Drumcircle. I remember the picture of the sandwich being eaten by a pirate and working with you to corroborate players that would work better in our community (Rocker ).

Voldy checks in here. he's the last to go back to AOC. I resubbed a month ago... logged in for a day. Immediately logged back out.

Khesetta is still in the state that it was when we left. All spawns are camped and you'll get jumped immediately by three rangers scouting out territory lol.

I believe they have resolved most of the crashing issues and the PVE content seems to be refined, however they haven't been able to recover from the mass exodus of players and it's pretty much stuck in niche mode just like Vanguard.

I say try it out for two weeks and see what you think. I'm not going back.

I've been in Warhammer and WOW off and on. Just got out of the Aion beta (main post on the news page). I was pretty impressed with it. After seeing the downfall of AOC and now WAR coming to a close it was a refreshing functional change of pace.

Hit me up on this site if you need anything but for the most part people have scattered to other games but check in sporadically on the forums or shot box.

I took over the web domain etc and I have no plans to shut it down. I'm debating revitalizing Black Serpent in an Aion attempt... but that's a bridge I'm still debating atm.

Glad to hear from ya though! I know when Bell decided to pull out of AOC you worked so hard to keep things together. Just know that AOC's failings were not your own.

I actually went to a new wow server and made a brand new guild with some friends. We took a guild that started the week of WOTLK release and got all the server firsts. I got tired of raid leading and being GM and just merged my guild with another guild and made my officer the new GM. So now i have a bit of free time and my new job covers the wow raid schedule so i'm looking for somethen to do on the side. I heard a few good things about Aion, but i was looking more at the US release of Darkfall or maybe Mortal. I'll check in on the site from time to time to see some more reviews.

Drum AoC is better then it was, however it is still an environment where you need to bring a group of people. It is funny as hell though that all of the four guild cities are still up and about so our instance of potain is whoever goes there. I renewed for a month and mainly dicked around with all the new shit they added to the cities and other areas, because I didn't like the 15 on 1 in Khes.

Hmm.. How you guys doing? I just got back to New York was down in South Carolina for a little while (A few of you knew that) but life and this recession forced me back to my roots. I reformatted my comp or I would have been on vent with you guys.. How are you guys? Sorry if it sounds like I am all over the place but its been a little while. I did try and stay in touch with Voldy but that dude does not remember how to answer any emails. On a side note I have been testing Aion and Champions online. Both seem very cool and have a lot to do..

Some of my old WoW guild from the UK were on about Aion and I thought about you guys, so I checked you out...imagine my surprise when I saw you were on it!

I'm more excited for Aion than I was for AOC/WAR mainly because it's already been out for a year.

Honestly, if AOC/WAR had already been out for a year and I had just started playing those games perhaps it would have ended in a more positive experience.

That's me being practical though... that gets me in trouble.
